Any of you who visited Devi's most likely have met grandma, which everyone calls her, steaming, tagging clothes, pricing, or straightening the racks. Some of you may know that grandma, 86, has had cancer four times, but by the grace of God and by the love and care of her family, has beat it every time. She has endured numerous 18 hour chemotherapy sessions, conquered the enivitable wig shopping, and transformed her situation from tragedy to success. The strength within herself to keep living was the last and most important tool that we believe has brought her where she is today. Research with faith and charity means a lot to us, and to her. We know that there are stories just like ours among all of you, whether it be in your family, friend, or even a friend of a friend. Cancer may be a tough disease, but nothing is a match for sharing, caring, and love; since they conquer all.
